Gloriana & Ryan’s Wedding
After the fantastically fun engagement session I had with Gloriana and Ryan, I just knew their wedding was going to be one to remember. Couples like Gloriana and Ryan make wedding photography such a rewarding experience. After our engagement session and mini-tour of South Florida that included stops in Key Biscayne and Coconut Grove, the bride and groom ran off to Vegas…
No, they didn’t tie the knot in Sin City with an Elvis impersonator presiding! This jet-setting couple lives in Japan and too much time, attention and airport layovers had gone into planning their Fort Lauderdale nuptials for them to throw all that by the wayside and get married at a Vegas drive thru wedding!! They arrived back in Florida in time for their sensational wedding.
Below is a sneak peek at some of my images.

I’d like to thank Gloriana and Ryan for allowing me to be a part of your glorious day. The happy couple are honeymooning in California and the Caribbean.
I’d like to send out big thanks to Todd and Isis for a major hand helping me cover this wedding.

Sisy & Miguel’s Engagement Session
Last weekend I shot a fantastic engagement session with Sisy and Miguel. As our day progressed, the bride and groom to be updated me on all the plans for their amazing wedding day. The excitement they expressed when telling me about their upcoming wedding is reflected in their engagement photos. I had such a great time with this lovely couple and I can’t wait for their wedding. Sisy is going to be a gorgeous bride. I can’t wait to see the look on Miguel’s face when she walks down the aisle.
Below are some of my favorite shots from the session.

Be sure to check back soon. On the day after Sisy and Miguel’s wedding I am planning a day after session. What I’m cooking up for these two is very cool and I can’t wait to share it with you.

Leo’s Communion Portraits
Here is a quick update on another portrait session I recently had. Leo was so cool, I have been taking pictures of him and his family for several years but this was the first time it was all about him! He looked sharp and ready for his First Communion. Enjoy!

I also wanted to share this prayer Leo’s dad emailed me the other day. We are truly blessed.
God, grant me serenity to accept the things I can not change,
courage to change the things I can
and the wisdom to know the difference;
living one day at a time, enjoying one moment at a time;
accepting hardship as a pathway to peace;
taking, as Jesus did, this sinful world as it is,
not as I would have it;
trusting that You will make all things right
if I surrender to Your will;
so that I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with You forever in the next.
AMEN!

Gloriana & Ryan’s Engagement Session
This past weekend I photographed Gloriana & Ryan’s engagement session. It is always so gratifying to work with couples in love, and with Gloriana and Ryan, it was also one heck of a good time!! We had so much fun walking the beaches of Key Biscayne and the streets of Coconut Grove. This couple was open to going all over South Florida in the name of fun and good photography to document the love they have for one another.
Here is a quick preview.

Ivana’s Communion Portraits
With communion season in full swing, this past week I was busy shooting some amazing communion portraits. Below are some shots from Ivana’s session. It’s so cool being a part of this important moment in every Catholic child’s lives. She was soooo happy all dressed up and ready for her communion in a couple of weeks.

A fun shot as she laughed with mom.

Last but not least, every photographer needs an assistant, so Sarah came along after agreeing to hold my bag. As it turns out, she was more interested in playing with Ivana’s brother! lol

It was an amazing session. Big thanks to the Vega’s for always thinking of me.

Alex & Nick’s Engagement Session
Several weeks ago Ray invited me to help him out with Alex and Nick’s engagement session. I was so happy to meet such a great couple and be a part of their fabulous engagement session. Ray had Alex and Nick running all over the place; and in their super cool style, Alex and Nick just rolled with it and had a good time. I love shooting engagement sessions. Engagement sessions provide the perfect opportunity to work with the couple in a relaxed environment without the wedding day pressures. It gives the coupe a chance to grow comfortable in front of the camera and with their photographer, ensuring that their wedding pictures are beautiful and capture the love and joy in their special day. The beautiful South Florida weather and awesome locations provide the perfect environment for these shoots.
Check out some of my favorite images from the day.

I’d like to send out a big thanks to Ray for always thinking of me.
If you’d like to have a cool and relaxing afternoon in some of South Florida’s most amazing locations, give me a call. We’ll have an outrageously fun time with your engagement session. Have I mentioned I’m available for destination weddings and engagement sessions worldwide? If you’re planning a destination wedding and want a photographer who will capture every emotion of your wedding day, give me a call and let’s talk about what you are planning for your special day!

Nicole’s Communion Portraits
It’s the time of year when most Catholic parents with children in second grade are preparing for their child’s First Holy Communion. During this past week I had the honor of photographing Nicole as she prepares for her Communion. I love the outdoor light in these photos, they enhance Nicole’s angelic look. The casual look in what are formal pictures gives the photograph both import and a child like aura of fun. The inclusion of traditional elements like the Rosary, Bible and formal gown make these some of my favorite portraits. These outdoor communion pictures were truly a treat for me. I hope you enjoy them!
These are some of the select pictures form Nicole’s portrait session.
