Join me in the Fight Against Breast Cancer, and become a part of the cure! October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Having lost several family members to cancer, including my mom this is a cause very dear to my family!
For every comment received on this blog post throughout the month of
October we will donate $1 to help support the fight against breast Cancer.
In 1985 October was nominated the National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. During the following 25 years, from New York to Hong Kong, from Stockholm to Cape Town, whether in the name of Pink Ribbon, Cinta Rosada, Fenhongsidai or Ruban Rose, people everywhere in the world have been jointly organizing activities, publishing magazines and raising money for the cause. However, breast cancer is not just a reality of October. Breast cancer is a hard reality of the entire year, of every month, of every day and even of every minute. The very same reality as any other life threatening disease that deserves the same attention and awareness as breast cancer receives during the month of October.

Mark your calendar March 6, 2010 is the 2010 Relay For Life in Miami. It is taking place at Felix Varela Sr. High School at 15255 SW 96 Street . The National Theme this year is ” More Birthdays“.
