This 4th of July I am reminded of my trip to the Basilica of Saint Louis in Missouri where I first read the words by Pope John Paul II.
“America will remain a beacon of freedom for the world
as long as it stands by those moral truths
which are the very heart of its historical experience.

I wish We all as a country would live by these words from a great man….. By the way the basilica has also a Great Museum Downstairs as well as a Crypt of Former Arch Bishops Great way to look at St Louis History and Catholic History Dating back to when St Louis Fell under the Archdiocese of Havana, Cuba
