Despite the fact that today is April Fools’ Day this is no joke, this past weekend I was fortunate to photograph Juniet and Adolfo’s wedding. We started off the day at the Eden Rock Hotel where traversing the streets of Miami Beach was quite the adventure thanks to the annual Winter Music Conference. Fortunately, Miami shined and delivered a gorgeous spring afternoon. Juniet and Adolfo said their vows at the beautiful St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, and since love was in the air why not add a few doves to the mix! After a beautiful and touching ceremony Juniet and Adolfo joined family and friends for a wonderful celebration at the Spanish Monastery.
Take a peak of some of the highlights.

You may recognize Diana above, as one of my former brides, be sure to check out some images from her wedding at Little Palm Island here.

Juniet & Adolfo- Hope you are enjoying Costa Rica, thank you!
You may remember Juniet & Adolfo from their uber-cool engagement session last year at the Dade-County Youth Fair or their most recent engagement session v2! You can view them here and here.

Completed in 1141 the Spanish Monastery is more than 865 years old. Originally constructed in Segovia, Spain where it remained until newspaper magnate William Randolph Hearst purchased the structure and had the Ancient Spanish Monastery disassembled and brought to America. It is believed to be one of the oldest buildings in the Western Hemisphere. Following it’s arrival to America it spent years in storage until developers reassembled it at it’s current location in North Miami Beach in the 1950′s.
Today, it is home to St. Bernard de Clairvaux Episcopal Church, and the Ancient Spanish Monastery also plays host to extraordinary weddings year round.

Alex: My entire family (especially me) was so happy you could be their photographer. Your work is incredible and the images are fantabulous! We had a great time at the wedding & the photo booth was the icing on the cake! You & Ozzie make a great team!
Beautiful shots! Love the softness
I absolutely love these photos. I can only imagine how beautiful the rest of them are. I find myself visiting your blog very frequently just to see my photos again. Alex, your work is truly amazing and you are a pleasure to be around. Thank you so much for documenting our big day in such a special and unique way.
Great photography! My favorite is the shot of the ring. I love how you set it up. I also really like the shot of the bride looking out of the white car.
Great ring shot!
I love the consistency of your look — great images time after time. Well done.
