Nikon D3 - The Arrival

by Alex Rodriguez on February 27, 2008

We are not having another baby, we are most certainly not having twins & we are not getting another generator. Today we welcomed into our home the latest addition to my camera bag. The new Nikon D3! This camera is sick!

Thats right folks, as part of our welcome to the family celebrations Nikon has decided to join in by launching a much needed facelift the their US based website. Here is a preview.

Big thanks to Nikon for helping me celebrate the new arrival! And finally big thanks to Riccis for the help securing my place in line.  :)

Doooooooode!! I have to admit, every time I look at that D3, I wish for a minute that I would have gone the Nikon route.

I said for a minute. ;-)

Seriously, if ever there was a camera that would tempt me to switch, it would be this baby. I’m in the market right now for a 1D Mark III but all these announcements from Canon about fixes…one year after the products is even released…makes me wish so bad that they had something like the D3.

You Nikon dudes have got one sweet little toy!!! Keep rocking your stuff AR!

Alex, congratz on the new addition to the family, lol. I’m not a Nikon guy but I keep hearing all kinds of good stuff about the D3. I’ll have to check it out sometime.
