My family has a long history of cancer, as a senior in high-school my mom passed away from what began as ovarian cancer, this month help support the national Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month.
It is estimated that this year more than 16,000 women will die in the United States from ovarian cancer. Many women don’t seek help until the disease has begun to spread, but if detected at its earliest stage, the 5 year survival rate is more than 93%. Recent research suggests that together the 4 symptoms of bloating, pelvic or abdominal pain, difficulty eating or feeling full quickly and urinary urgency or frequency may be associated with ovarian cancer.

You are awesome! Thanks for such a great post, hopefully women everywhere will read this and stay healthy. I love you!
Can confounders provide warning of cause?
The confounding aspect of gastrointestinal disorders makes it difficult to recognize ovarian cancer at an early stage. If the same entity which causes the gastrointestinal ailments also causes ovarian cancer, the physician would be alerted by the confounding symptoms. At a minimum the doctor should be able to treat the underlying cause to reduce if not eliminate further aggravation of the tissues whether they be related to the ovaries or the gastrointestinal tract.
