On Thursday we took the girls out to find the perfect pumpkin. When I was a kid my Mom would take my brother and me to the local pumpkin patch. This was one of the annual family rituals and now we are passing it on to Sophia and Sarah. Last year we skipped out and managed with one of the plastic ones from Target. At the time Sophia was just a couple of months old. This year we had a blast! Now the question of the day is “when is Halloween?” Since it was Sophia’s first pumpkin adventure I got my camera and took some great shots of the kids. I can not wait till Halloween to gets some pictures of the kids dressed up.
Here Sarah, who loves to be photographed, managed to keep her mouth closed as her two front teeth have now fallen.

I tried to sit Sophia in the middle of the pumpkins, the plan (in my head) was to get a shot of her surrounded by pumpkins, she was not happy!
Fortunately, for a very brief second she paused and let me get this shot.

We had a great time and found the perfect pumpkin in all of South Florida. Sometime next week I will move on to the project of carving it.
Oh, and I almost forgot. While deep in the science of finding the perfect pumpkin CSI Miami style, my phone rings, its UncleRay, he never received my CD from the recent engagement session we shot in Miami! lol
I went home and made another copy then I drove to his house and dropped it off. I managed to interfere with his dinner but he showed me some killer shots he recently took. I can not wait to see more.

I love the pictures with nothing but pumpkins in the background. The pumpkins are almost as big as Sophia!
